Deontay Wilder Vs. Tyson Fury (Public Predictions)

Picture
I think we’re milking the content now. Luckily, this is the last article about the fight except from one article after the fight but this is an interesting one. We asked people for their predictions for Wilder verses Fury and this is what people said.

Eddie Pullman - @Eddiepullman75

I’ll give it my best. For me this bout is hard to call for a few reasons. Starting with Tyson fury first, he’s the wild card in this fight. His most notable win came over an aging klitschko in 2015, albeit still a good performance. It’s no secret about fury’s depression and substance abused that ensued after the klitschko victory. He’s had one fight since 2015 and nothing even remotely comparable to who he’ll be facing December 1st. What kind of fury will show up Saturday? Mentally he could be 100% but the body never lies. If the years of abuse catch up with him, he’s in trouble. Now wilder’s most notable victory has come over an aging Louis Ortiz, age still pending on who you talk to. Wilder did face some controversy in the fight when Ortiz had him in trouble mid rounds showing wilder can be stunned. Wilder did prevail nevertheless and showed grit, he can take a punch and Ortiz found out wilder can deliver one after Ortiz met the canvas. So here goes...if wilder can’t hurt fury, fury on points. I can’t see any outcome in which fury knocks wilder out. Second outcome is wilder catches fury mid rounds and knocks fury out. Bold prediction lol? Wilder by knockout somewhere 5-6 rounds.

Prediction: Deontay Wilder (TKO; Round 5/6)

I feel like it would be weird to see Tyson Fury with a belt in 2018 despite his young age, I just can’t imagine it. He’ll definitely have a tough time beating Deontay Wilder but I do think he can get the job done, however it will not be an easy task as Wilder is as wild as they come. His overhand can come out of nowhere and I definitely do think Fury will hit the canvas at one point but that won’t be enough to stop the gypsy king and I see Fury going the distance and winning this on points.

Prediction: Tyson Fury (Unanimous Decision)

Ronan - @ManoAManoBoxing

I see Tyson Fury winning by unanimous decision after a hard fight, there is potential that both men might go down at some point but ultimately I believe this fight will go the distance. When it goes the distance, there will only be one winner as this fight is a puncher vs a supreme boxer. Fury by UD!

Prediction: Tyson Fury (Unanimous Decision)

I think Tyson Fury will win because of his speed and head movement, he moves like a middleweight. His technique is great as well, Wilder won’t be able to match that skill level.

Prediction: Tyson Fury (Unanimous Decision)

I believe wilder will win this fight due to 3 reasons. The first being how active he has been compared to Tyson. Second being his speed, power and wildness which makes him hard to read and unpredictable. Also furys opponents haven't been up to scratch and how he has been heavy and realistically fought 10 rounds as his fight with seferi was a joke.

Prediction: Deontay Wilder

Personally, I'm looking foward to this fight and for £20 the bank acounts loving it too, but seriously when its all through and done and the dust settles I can only see fury on top. It’s a great ending to a great story.

Prediction: Tyson Fury (TKO; Round 9)

Before I go anywhere with my prediction I respect both fighters because their willing to fight anyone to be the best. In this fight though I think if both are on their absolute A game there is one winner and that for me is Tyson Fury. He’s so awkward and Wilder struggles with accuracy with the best of times. I just think Fury will too slick for wilder. There’s no doubt if wilder lands big it could be over, but I think Fury has the ability to evade this for 12 rounds. Fury Unanimous Decision.

Prediction: Tyson Fury (Unanimous Decision)

Jack - AllThingsCombat.com

Tyson Fury by Unanimous Decision as I can’t see where Wilder is technically better than Fury but I think Wilder will have a chance as it is only Fury’s 3rd fight since the return and has failed to look sharp in any of the previous bouts.

Prediction: Tyson Fury (Unanimous Decision)

Prediction: Wilder by TKO - Fury is going in a little unprepared in my opinion. He's not had enough fights in the buildup to this and is banking on being the same man as the one who beat Klitschko in 2015. Critics think Wilder hasn't been tested and he certainly will be against Fury, it'll be close in the early rounds but i think Wilder's skill and movement against an unprepared Fury will see him prevail not with a KO but a TKO by ref stoppage. Honestly 50/50 if it goes the distance. It's going to be a fascinating fight!

Prediction: Deontay Wilder (TKO)
