This Week In ROH: 6th Of July
It’s Friday which means it’s time for an episode of “This Week In ROH” which is following a massive PPV! Let’s get right into it and check out the run-down.
The Run-Down:
Match 1: Riley Shepard & Gabby Ortiz Vs. Sumie Sakai & Stella Grey
Grey starts the match with Shepard and they grapple for a bit. Sakai picks up the win with smash mouth.
Winners: Sumie Sakai & Stella Grey
Match 2: Bully Ray Vs. Cheeseburger
Bully Ray low-blows Cheeseburger before the bell and smacks him with the bin. Cheeseburger gets little offence in and Ray takes out Todd Sinclair. Colt Cabana makes the save and gets a cheese grater, him and Cheeseburger does the top rope headbutt to the groin. They get a table and now Cabana is watching from ringside now. Ray splashes himself off the middle rope but Cheeseburger rolls off the table and Ray goes right through it for an amazing nearfall. Bully Ray does end up winning though.
Winner: Bully Ray
Match 3: Cody Vs. Titan
This was a great match and a really fun mainevent, Cody ripped the mask off Titan and rolled him up to end the match, this was great!
Winner: Cody

So it’s time for Star Of The Show but let’s look at last week’s league table.
7th: Punishment Martinez, Sumie Sakai, Chuckie T & Will Ferrera – 1
6th: Kenny King, Austin Aries, Christopher Daniels & Silas Young – 2
5th:Dalton Castle, Cody & Jay Lethal -3
4th: Jonathon Gresham & Frankie Kazarian -4
3rd: Matt Taven, Marty Scurll & Flip Gordon - 6
2nd: The Briscoes - 7
1st: The Young Bucks - 8
In 3rd place and receiving one point is Sumie Sakai. Sakai already has one point on the list so this will take her from 7th place to 6th place. Sakai still remains to be the only woman on the list which makes sense as she’s the champion.
Now into 2nd place and it’s a debuting wrestler on the list and it’s Bully Ray. Ray basically annihilated Cheeseburger on this week’s episode and he did do a good job so I’m going to reward him by giving him his first points on the league table.
And finally in 1st place and it’s Cody. Cody had a great main event against Titan who would be on the list if he was actually in ROH but since he isn’t, I can’t put him on. I hope he understands.
