This Week In Ring Of Honor: 25th Of May
It’s that time of the week once again where I review this week’s episode of Ring Of Honor. This is going to be good.
Match 1: Cheeseburger & Jushin Thunder Liger Vs. The Dawgs
Cheeseburger starts the match with Rhett Titus who shoved Cheeseburger onto the ground. The match is good and is a great opening match. Liger & Cheeseburger obviously pick up the win.
Match 2: Sumie Sakai (c) Vs. Jenny Rose (Women Of Honor Championship)
The match feels like it has a high intensity as Sakai goes straight away Rose and throws their friendship right out the window. The match is a lot better than I thought it would be. Sakai wins with the smash mouth.
Match 3: The Kingdom (c) Vs. SOCAL Uncensored (ROH 6 Man Tag Team Championships)
The mainevent starts off quite slow and Vinny Marsegila gets a balloon burst over his head from Daniels. Taven and TK O’Ryan double team Scorpio Sky. The Kingdom are the ones with the advantage for the majority of the match.
Sky makes a well-needed Tag to Frankie Kazarian who cleans house. Daniels does some good stuff as well. The match ends with SOCAL winning via disqualification.
My Thoughts:
Really good episode let’s look at the ratings from WORST to BEST:
Motor Sh***y Machine Guns
TK OK Ryan
Josh “The Goods” Goods
A-Jay-Zing
This week receives a high “Josh ‘The Goods’ Goods”.
Star Of The Show:
Who doesn’t love Star Of The Show? But before we get into it, let’s take a look at the leaderboard.
3rd: Frankie Kazarian, Chuckie T & Will Ferrera – 1
2nd: Cody, Silas Young & Jonathan Gresham – 2
1st: Jay Lethal, Flip Gordon & Matt Taven -3
In 3rd place and gets one point is the first woman in the list, Sumie Sakai. I felt like she had a great match and was good throughout. The match felt good and violent and I look forward to seeing her title reign.
Now we go to second and making his debut, Christopher Daniels. I felt like he had a good time in the match showing off some of his great moves. He will now join Cody, Young and Gresham.
Finally receiving all 3 points and is now in first place by himself – bare in mind, he was last place last week – Frankie Kazarian. Back in the old episodes which is on another website I had this segment and he was untouchable. Like, Kazarian was in first place for like a solid month, it was madness but then the series got scrapped. AllThingsCombat.com doesn’t scrap a series, though…
Anyway, Kazarian was really good.
Now let’s take a look at this week’s leaderboard:
4th: Sumie Sakai, Chuckie T & Will Ferrera – 1
3rd: Christopher Daniels, Cody, Silas Young & Jonathan Gresham – 2
2nd: Jay Lethal, Flip Gordon & Matt Taven -3
1st: Frankie Kazarian -4
As you can see, Kazarian jumped RIGHT ahead this week but I wouldn’t be surprised if Silas Young joins him as he’s in action next week, so if he gets 2 points, he’s joined however if he gets 3, he’ll enter first himself. Austin Aries is going to be in action so it’s safe to say he’ll enter the list. I’m really enjoying how the leaderboard is adding up. Nobody is safe. Also, Karen Q is suppose to be fighting Tenille Dashwood so that should be good.
Considerable:
This week’s Considerable is: Sumie Sakai.
Would you like to see the women on their own show? Is Sumie Sakai going to be champion for long? Who will beat her? Do you like Sumie Sakai?
