It’s Friday morning which means it’s this week In Ring Of Honor which is an exclusive series which you can only find on AllThingsCombat.com unless it’s the older episodes, then you might have to go on another site. But why would you do that when you can read the review on the most recent episode, so let’s get right into the run down.

The Run-Down:

Picture

Jay Lethal Vs. Punishment Martinez

Spooky Martin is in action first, Lethal enters next. He is sporting an attire somewhat similar to the Macho Man. Lethal is one of my favourite wrestling in ROH alongside Marty Scurll and possibly Kenny King.

Lethal kicks off the match with seven suicide dives. One after another.

Lethal wins after a great back and fourth match.

Josh Daddiego Vs. Shane Taylor

I think this is going to be a squash match as Shane Taylor is making his entrance.

Daddiego gets some offence in but that can only last for so long. Daddiego kicks out of a splash and Taylor looks mad. Taylor goes for a cannonball but Daddiego moves out the way. He lifts Taylor up and hits the Daddiego Driver but Taylor kicks out.

Taylor wedges Daddiego onto two chairs and splashes him, he attacks multiple referees.

Bullet Club (Adam Page, Cody & Marty Scurll) Vs. SOCAL Uncensored

This should be a good match, The Bullet Club is fighting the 6 man tag team champions which should make for a fantastic mainevent.

Cody and Sky start the match.

The match continues and Page and Kazarian brawl as always.

From there, it’s all CHAOS. Adam Page picks up the win for the team. After the match, Daniels and Kazarian attack them. Scurll accidentally hits Cody with the umbrella.

My Thoughts

That was a really enjoyable episode of ROH so for the first ever, let’s look at the ratings from WORST to BEST:

Motor Sh***y Machine Guns
TK OK Ryan
Josh “The Goods” Goods
A-Jay-Zing

This Week is a solid Josh “The Goods” Goods.

Star Of The Show

Onto my favourite segment of the show and it’s star of the show so let’s look at what the current leaderboard is looking like.

3rd: Chuckie T & Will Ferrera – 1
2nd: Silas Young & Jonathan Gresham – 2
1st: Flip Gordon & Matt Taven -3

In third place and gets a singular point is: Frankie Kazarian. Kazarian had a great mainevent and was a key player. Whether he fought Cody or Page, he was a great wrestler who did what he should’ve. He will now join Matt Taven and Flip Gordon down at third place.

Now for two points and it’s only got to be: Cody. The American nightmare was a valuable member in the match and was the legal man for a good portion of it. He had big move after big move and I’m looking forward to having him on the leaderboard.

And finally, the winner of the star of the show and gets 3 points is: Jay Lethal. He opened the show with a good 15 Minute match and it made me wonder why he doesn’t have a title. You can easily build ROH around Jay Lethal again and why don’t they? I understand he’s getting on a bit but he’s only getting better.

3rd: Frankie Kazarian, Chuckie T & Will Ferrera – 1
2nd: Cody, Silas Young & Jonathan Gresham – 2
1st: Jay Lethal, Flip Gordon & Matt Taven -3

I’ve got a feeling Lethal, Gordon and Taven will manage to get more points. If Cody has a match next week and gets like 2 points, then he’ll enter first place and knock Lethal, Gordon and Taven down to second. It’s a very competitive segment with everybody wanting that first place position.

Considerable

Jay Lethal. Where does he go now? Should he go after the ROH title? Should he go after the TV title? Is he better off as an enhancement talent? Where will he be in one year? Should he have a grudge feud? Who with?

Anyway I’ve been Josh from AllThingsCombat.com and you can follow us on twitter and like us on Facebook. This has been This Week In Ring Of Honor and I’ll join you next time for next week in Ring Of Honor.
