The Return Of Cain Velasquez And What It Means For The Heavyweight Division

Picture
Brock Lesnar, Junior Dos Santos, Ben Rothwell, Antonio Silva, Travis Browne - these are only some of the names that Cain Velasquez defeated in the octagon and after almost 3 years away from the sport, Cain Velasquez makes his MMA return next week in a massive fight against top heavyweight prospect, Francis Ngannou. Cain Velasquez is a former UFC heavyweight champion and his return is going to cause a big impact in the heavyweight division.
Picture
Cain Velasquez has an MMA record of 14 wins and 2 losses and at the age of 36 - he has a few fights left and I think after he defeats Ngannou - which I think Cain is more than capable of doing, he will have a big fight against somebody like Stipe Miocic which would pull mega numbers. Velasquez is a force to be reckoned with and since Daniel Cormier is approaching retirement, somebody will need to take the throne and that somebody is Cain Velasquez.
Picture
I see Cain Velasquez’s last fight being a rematch with current WWE universal champion, Brock Lesnar who Cain Velasquez previously defeated by destroying him in the opening round. This fight may or may not be for the title but I definitely see this fight happening sometime in the near future.

Cain Velasquez is going to shock the heavyweight division and have a massive impact on it in 2019 and it starts with Francis Ngannou.
