WWE Smackdown Live Review (16th of April l)
Part 2 of the Superstar Shakeup is in the books as Smackdown recieved some new names from RAW, NXT, and 205 Live. Smackdown I must say got some good names as it sure does spice up the show a bit more now and I'm interested in some future rivalries on the blue brand.
Show opened with The KO Show segment featuring Kevin Owens and his guest Xavier Woods and WWE Champion Kofi Kingston. Big E was missing as he recently had surgery from an injury and will be out for a while. Kevin Owens however took this opportunity to persuade The New Day to become an temporary member of the group. New Day accepted and Kevin Owens was awarded his own unicorn horn and New Day merchandise. This also sets up the main event as New Day along with KO takes on Rusev, Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro.

Finn Balor Vs. Ali
Finn Balor is now on Smackdown and brings the Intercontinental Championship with him! This is great as Balor has been on RAW for a minute and it was appropriate for him to switch over to the blue brand. This was a damn good match as Ali looked good against Balor. Good back and forth action between these guys and they sure got the fans behind them. Balor nails the Coupe De Grace on Ali for the win and the two showed respect to one another afterwards.
Charlotte Flair Vs. Carmella
This was Charlotte's first appearance on TV since Wrestlemania and she sure didn't miss a step. This match was fine as it was basic action between the two women that had Charlotte looked dominant most of the time. Charlotte applied the Figure 8 on Carmella for the submission win. Afterwards, Lars Sullivan arrived and attacks R-Truth! Lars Sullivan is officially on Smackdown as it was confirmed after the beatdown.
Becky Lynch arrives next and continues to talk about fighting all challengers. She's then interrupted by Ember Moon, who's officially on Smackdown! Ember steps up to Becky then suddenly Bayley arrives and she's on Smackdown as well! She too steps up to Becky then the IIconics arrive and talk trash to everyone. Paige arrives next and this was where we find out who she was gonna bring up to Smackdown to challenge for the Women's Tag titles. Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville interrupts her and they step up to the IIconics, then Paige interrupts them and brings out the team of Asuka and Kari Sane! They all begin to brawl and this sets up a Tag match.

This tag match was fine as we got to see the new faces, besides Asuka who's still on the brand, shine in this match. Everyone did their part here and it capped off with Kari hitting her signature Insane Elbow on Peyton Royce and picks up the win for her team!

The New Day & Kevin Owens Vs. Shinsuke Nakamura, Rusev & Cesaro
This was a fine 6 man tag as KO got to do some interesting things with New Day in this match. I must say it was interesting to see Cesaro without Sheamus here. I know this won't happen, but it would be great to see Cesaro as a singles competitor again. Kevin Owens picks up the win for his team here as he hits the Stunner on Rusev!
Vince McMahon arrives as he was set to make a high announcement involving a big acquisition coming to Smackdown. That acquisition turned out to be Elias! Elias is now on the blue brand and could do some good things on that show. He talks about changing the game for Smackdown and as Vince and himself celebrate, Roman Reigns interrupts and attacks both Elias and Vince! Roman then announces that he's on Smackdown and gives a spear to Elias to close out the show!
