RAW Review (October 7th)
We're 24 hours removed from Hell in a Cell and fans were waiting for an explanation for the ending of the event. This show mainly promoted an appearance from Tyson Fury as he awaits an apology from Braun Strowman after what went down on Smackdown between them last week. All fans could talk about was the Hell in a Cell debacle and WWE really needed to do something to get rid of the stench that they brought upon themselves. Did they accomplish that goal? Let's find out!
Show kicked off with an ambush on Rusev by Randy Orton and King Corbin as Orton and Rusev were scheduled to face off one on one. Rusev fought back a little then suddenly we see Bobby Lashley via satellite as he continues to taunt Rusev about Lana's affair with him. We see Lashley wearing what was supposed to be Rusev's robe as he stood in Rusev's bedroom then decides to make himself comfortable by getting in Rusev's bed. Lashley then brings in Lana as she gets in the bed alongside him. She states that she no longer shares a joint bank account with Rusev and then points out that he looks like he wasn't having any fun, but she's about to have fun with Lashley. My God was this cringey as hell. Orton and Corbin were then seen laughing at Rusev and that was enough for Rusev to turn into a angry man and he destroys the both of them at ringside! He also tosses the steel steps around then leaves with such anger as he's now on the hunt for Lashley and Lana.

Natalya Vs. Lacey Evans (Last Woman Standing)
This match wasn't really anything special at first but slowly picked up near the end. Lacey brought a trash can with Nattie's name on it to the mix and used it a few times to keep her down, but didn't quite work out that way. They brawl up to the stage and Lacey even tossed Nattie onto the tron, causing her to slide down on it. They go to the announce table next and Lacey tries to suplex Nattie but she countered it and suplexed her instead. It wasn't over from there as Nattie brings Lacey to the edge of the stage and Powerbombs her off the stage through a table! Referee counts to 10 and Lacey was unable to make it to her feet, thus making Natayla the winner of the match! Now that Natayla was victorious, can this feud be over now?
Next we see Aleister Black make his return to television as he does his sit down promo backstage in a dark room. He yet again begs for someone to come pick a fight with him and at this point, he needs to just go kick some ass instead of begging for a fight because NO ONE will ever knock on his door.

The Viking Raiders Vs. Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode
This was a good match! Roode and Ziggler looked good but the Raiders were impressive throughout the match. A competitive match for sure and by the time it was over, I was disappointed that it wasn't for the Tag Titles themselves. Ivar got the hot tag at one point and went wild on the opponents with big moves while Erik looked like a beast as well. They finish off Ziggler with the Viking Experience for the win then later in the show, we come to find out that they will indeed face Roode and Ziggler for the RAW Tag Titles next week!
We see Aleister Black again backstage but this time he was in his ring gear as he finally states that he would come out to the ring to pick a fight with someone.

Aleister Black Vs. The Singh Brothers
Once I saw Sunil and Samir, I knew what their fate was going to be. Aleister Black comes out and immediately destroys them two in a matter of minutes. He delivers the Black Mass to Samir then ends Sunil with a unique chokehold for the submission win! I really hope he gets into a program following the draft coming up.
Rey Mysterio was interviewed next as he talks about Cain Velasquez backing him up against Brock Lesnar. Rey simply states that Velasquez will destroy Lesnar and that he'll do it for Rey's family. We don't know when this match will take place but it'll be an interesting one for sure.

The OC Vs. Lucha House Party
This turned out to be an entertaining match as LHP showed some great agility throughout the match! O.C. even looked like they were having trouble keeping them down for a bit, but once they got the chance the tables were turned. It came down to Kalisto and Styles then Styles hits the Phenomenal Forearm and picks up the win for his team. Afterwards, they beat down LHP more then finishes it off with AJ executing the Avalanche Styles Clash to Lince Dorado! You know, AJ is without a challenger right now for his US title. I wouldn't mind seeing him defend it against any of the LHP members.
Next we have a MizTV segment with guests RAW Women's Champion Becky Lynch and the new Smackdown Women's Champion Charlotte Flair. Both women banter back and forth about their victories at Hell in a Cell and how important each of them were over one another. Charlotte brags about how she is now a 10 time champion, while Becky states that her title reign is more meaningful. New Women's Tag Champions Asuka and Kairi Sane arrive as they trash talk Charlotte and Becky in Japanese then Becky retaliates by calling them down to the ring. They rush to the ring and brawl with Becky and Charlotte, ending MizTV immediately.

The Kabuki Warriors Vs. Becky Lynch & Charlotte Flair
The match was decent but picked up at the very end where Becky and Kairi were the two legal women in the match. Charlotte had the referee distracted as she supposedly tweaked her knee after hitting a move. During this, Becky applied the Dis-Arm-Her to Kairi but then Asuka comes in and sprays her with the green mist! Kairi then takes this opportunity to roll up Becky for the win! Afterwards, Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss runs to the ring to brawl with Asuka and Kairi and they get the upper hand at the end of it.
Ricochet Vs. Apollo Crews
If given enough time, this match could've I been very good. Unfortunately, it was underwhelming as not enough time was given to them and neither of them didn't do much in the match. Ricochet hits the Recoil for the win and that was pretty much anything worth noting here.
Lastly, we get to the most hyped up segment of the night. Tyson Fury comes out for an interview with Jerry Lawler as he talks about his encounter with Braun Strowman last week on Smackdown. Fury basically states that if Strowman doesn't apologize to him for that incident then he will kick Strowman's ass. Strowman finally comes out and states that what he did to Fury was all for fun, but if Fury really wants to square up with him then he will kick his ass. Forgot to mention, there were security guards surrounding the ring just in case something goes down. That indeed was the case as Strowman and Fury stated brawling and the guards got involved including with some wrestlers to try to pull them apart. The less said, better honestly as it was a fine pull apart brawl to end the show but it wasn't a memorable one either.
Overall, this show was not great whatsoever. 24 hours removed from HIAC and that was the best they could do? What's funny is that they barely even talked about the main event from the PPV. They mention it once and never brought it up again. Hilarious.
Show Rating: 4.6/10
