The WWE Draft is officially over and now it's time for the brands to put up or shut up! Anyway, Crown Jewel is coming up shortly and this show continues to build up to the featured event. Also we have the aftermath of Seth Rollins committing the ultimate sin by burning down the Firefly Funhouse last week so fans couldn't wait to here what he had to say about it. Let's recap the show!

Show kicked off with the Nature Boy Ric Flair as he plans to announce the final pick for his team for the upcoming Crown Jewel 5 on 5 Tag Team Match. That final pick turned out to be Drew McIntyre! He haven't seen McIntyre in a while so it was a nice surprise to have this man back. Drew promises Flair that he will not let him down, and will indeed make it worth his while as he plans to destroy Ricochet in their match after the commercial break!

Drew McIntyre Vs. Ricochet

This was a really good match! These two were given enough time to beat the crap out of each other and that's exactly what they did. What made this match more entertaining was Ric Flair at ringside cheering McIntyre on and he was a little too much at times hahaha. McIntyre looked like a beast as always by throwing Ricochet around while looking dominant as well. Ricochet was no slouch as he would make a comeback with his amazing maneuvers and agilities. Ricochet even attempted to lift McIntyre on his shoulders to do a Samoan Drop and that looked like it killed his back. McIntyre tosses Ricochet shoulder first to the ring post then sets him up to execute the Claymore Kick for the win! McIntyre wasn't done with him as after the match, he nails Ricochet with the Future Shock DDT. Then he takes him outside of the ring and finishes him with the Alabama Slam onto the steel steps!

Aleister Black Vs. Local Competitor

Quick squash match as Aleister destroyed his opponent within seconds. He quickly finishes his opponent off with the Black Mass for the win, and continues to look for someone to pick a fight with him.

Next we have a King's Court segment with special guest Rusev. Here, these guys discuss what's been happening lately between Rusev, Lana, and Bobby Lashley. Rusev claims that Lana's been brainwashed by Lashley and that he will indeed crush him for his actions. He truly believes Lana will come back to him, then suddenly we see Lashley and Lana appear via satellite as they're supposedly at a restaurant that's in town. Lana claims that the restaurant they're in was a place that she always wanted to go to and practically begged Rusev to take her there. The dialogue was just lame. Rusev states that he knows exactly what restaurant they're in then sprints to the back as he plotted for revenge.

Andrade Vs. Sin Cara

This was actually a good match. These two men always have good chemistry together as they're known to have great matches at live events. With them having limited time on TV, they could only do so much but they did well together. Zelina Vega yet again helped Andrade as she performed another Hurricanrana on Sin Cara at ringside, thus promoting for Andrade to execute the Hammerlock DDT for the win!

Backstage we see newly drafted RAW Superstar Humberto Carrillo being interviewed as he quickly talks about having a lot to prove on the brand. He then takes a jab at Seth Rollins by saying that he's a champion who "plays with fire". This will come into play later on.

24/7 Champion R-Truth was seen backstage hiding from anyone trying to sneak up on him. He runs into Samir Singh as he tries to sing an Indian song to Truth, and this was enough to distract him as Sunil Singh comes from behind and pins Truth! Sunil Singh is the new 24/7 Champion!

The Viking Raiders Vs. Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins

I would say this was a squash match but Hawkins and Ryder put up a little bit of a fight here. They still couldn't overcome the power of the Raiders as they end Hawkins with the Viking Experience for the win.

Next we go back to the restaurant where Bobby Lashley and Lana have dined together. Things were swell then we hear a commotion as Rusev finally found the two of them together and starts charging at them. He knocks Lashley down and chokes him as security comes to break up the fight. Lana repeatedly yells at Rusev to have fun in jail to conclude the segment and I must say, it was a bit cringey for sure.

Rey Mysterio arrives next as he talks about the upcoming battle between Brock Lesnar and Cain Velasquez at Crown Jewel. He then goes on to thank the fans for their overwhelming support for him and his family. Paul Heyman then appears on the titantron and basically mocked Mysterio. He claims that Lesnar will destroy Velasquez and retain his championship in the process, then Mysterio cuts him off and tells him off in Spanish. Shelton Benjamin comes out and lets out his frustrations as to why Cain Velasquez gets a championship match out of nowhere. He lists off some history he has with Brock Lesnar as the two of them trained together at the University of Minnesota and were roommates there as well, which is indeed true. Benjamin then feels that if he were to start pushing around Rey then he would get a title match as well, so he began doing just that by pushing Rey around the ring. Cain Velasquez finally shows up and takes care of Benjamin by throwing him down and laying shots in on him. Benjamin rolls out of the ring and leaves defeated while Velasquez and Mysterio looks on.

Backstage we see Charly Caruso interview Universal Champion Seth Rollins. Rollins talks about his upcoming match at Crown Jewel against The Fiend Bray Wyatt and how facing The Fiend can change a person forever. He suddenly turns around and notices Humberto Carrillo off camera. He goes over to Carrillo and mentions that he's heard what Carrillo had to say about him earlier in the show. He officially welcomes Carrillo to RAW and then challenges him to a match! Humberto sure didn't want to pass this opportunity up.

Seth Rollins Vs. Humberto Carrillo

Great match! For this to be Humberto's first match on RAW, he sure made a big impression. Even Rollins himself throughout the match acknowledged how good this young man really is. Humberto dished out some very unique moves as he got Rollins down by the ropes and somehow performed a Handspring Armdrag by lifting Rollins off the mat! He also performed a great looking Moonsault for a near fall and man that Moonsault sure did looked impressive. He tried to go for another Moonsault but Rollins got his feet up then executes the Curb Stomp for the win! Afterwards, the two men shook hands and honestly, this should be a sign that there's big things to come for Humberto. Unfortunately, I won't get my hopes up.

The Street Profits Vs. The OC

This turned into a regular Tag Match as Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson took on the Street Profits two on two. AJ Styles doubted the Profits of finding a tag partner so he chose not to participate in this match. The match itself was good it started off slow then picked up minute by minute, basically the formula of a tag match. Gallows and Anderson dominated for half of the match til Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins picked up steam and brought the fight to their opponents. Montez Ford attempted to leap onto Karl Anderson as Dawkins and Gallows brawled at ringside. Styles took this opportunity to toss Ford off the top for Anderson to hit a Spinebuster for a near fall! AJ then grabs Dawkins and the referee saw this, allowing him to reject Styles from ringside! Styles argues with the ref when suddenly Kevin Owens appears and takes out Styles with the Stunner! Ford then leaps over Anderson to the outside onto Gallows and Dawkins takes out Anderson with a Spinebuster of his own. Ford tags back in then hits a huge Frogsplash for the win!
