RAW Review (10th of July)
We're officially on the road to Stomping Grounds! Super Showdown has come and gone so now it's time we build to the next PPV that's taking place on June 23rd. Let's take a look at what went down on last night's show!
Show opened with Universal Champion Seth Rollins talking about his match against Baron Corbin at Super Showdown and Brock Lesnar's failed cash in. Baron Corbin then interrupts him and states that he should be Universal Champion for Seth's own good. Seth rebuttals, but then out comes Sami Zayn. Sami agrees with Corbin that he should be Universal Champion instead of Seth and that it would be better for RAW. That's hilarious. Suddenly, Kevin Owens appears because you guys know, WILD CARD RULE! KO agrees with both Zayn and Corbin that Seth shouldn't be champion. This causes Seth to challenge KO to a match for later on in the night. I pretty much shortened the beginning of RAW for you guys because there was way too much talking going on in the segment.

Lars Sullivan Vs. The Lucha House Party
Why were we seeing this match again, no one knows. Lars started attacking the team before the match began. Once the bell ranged, Lars almost immediately eliminated Kalisto first. Lince Dorado was next and he too was eliminated immediately. Gran Metalik was last as Lars nailed him with 2 Freak Accidents and a Diving Headbutt to pick up the win. This should've happened at Super Showdown so this could be done with, but hopefully that's the case now. It's time that Lars face some real competition instead of the same jobbers over and over again.
Backstage we see Carmella and 24/7 Champion R-Truth running from superstars as they all stopped by the elevators. Truth, Carmella, and a couple other stars went into an elevator and they all wanted a referee to join them. The elevator doors closed while no referee was present as requested then when the elevator started moving, it immediately gets stuck, trapping everyone who's inside.
RAW Women's Champion Becky Lynch and Lacey Evans have a sit down interview with Michael Cole as they talk about their upcoming title match at Stomping Grounds. This was pretty standard stuff here as both women banter about beating one another at the PPV. Not much else to say here.
MizTV segment next featuring The Miz and his guest the United States Champion Samoa Joe. Miz talks about Joe's assault on Rey Mysterio from last week. Miz was especially bothered by the fact that Joe would involve Rey's son Dominic into their rivalry. Joe threatens to go after Miz's family and the two go face to face, then Braun Strowman arrives as he challenges Joe to a fight. Bobby Lashley then appears follow an appearance by Ricochet. Cesaro comes out last and before saying a word, he punches Ricochet and this leads to a breakout brawl involving everyone. This leads to a 6 man tag match of Braun, Miz, and Ricochet vs Cesaro, Lashley, and Joe.

Braun Strowman, The Miz & Ricochet Vs. Bobby Lashley, Cesaro & Samoa Joe
This was an enjoyable match. The MVP of this match I must say was Ricochet as he showed incredible athleticism throughout the whole match! Both teams went back and forth and the action was good. Braun at one point got Joe on his shoulders for a Running Powerslam but Joe bailed as he left the match. Miz takes out Cesaro as Ricochet finishes him off with the 63O Splash and picks up the win for his team!
Bayley & Becky Lynch Vs. Lacey Evans & Alexa Bliss
Fine tag match here as Bayley was the hometown hero so she definitely had the crowd behind her in this match. Becky and Lacey went at it for a bit as preview for their Stomping Grounds match and also Bayley and Alexa went head to head. Lacey performs a nice looking Moonsault, only for Becky to move out of the way. Bayley and Alexa continued to go at it and Bayley almost had the match won but Lacey was the legal woman and she nails Bayley with the Woman's Right to pick up the win for her team!
Paul Heyman arrived next as he talks about Super Showdown. He states how brutal it was for Seth to destroy Brock with a chair and etc. He continues to tease Brock's cash in as he even said he could appear at Stomping Grounds. This promo was fine but nothing too special honestly.

The IIconics Vs. Local Competitors
Straight up squash match here as Royce and Kay laid waste to their opponents real quick. All I can really say here is that they need to lose their titles, like now. Either that or start having them looking legit against some actual competition.
Next we have a celebration for Shane McMahon as he celebrates his victory over Roman Reigns at Super Showdown. Shane was just feeling himself like he was a damn king. Drew McIntyre was present as well for this celebration and he also claims that he'll destroy Roman at Stomping Grounds. Shane then brings out the Revival as they prepare for a triple threat tag match for the Tag Team titles.

Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins (C) Vs. The Usos Vs. The Revival (WWE RAW Tag Team Championships)
Y'all wanna know what's sad? I almost completely forgot who were the tag champs because we haven't seen Ryder and Hawkins for weeks, damn near a month. The match itself was good as all 3 teams fought hard for the belts. Jey Uso almost had Zack Ryder beat by hitting him with a superkick then nailing the Uso Splash. After hitting the splash, Dash Wilder grabbed his foot while Scott Dawson pinned Ryder for the win! The Revival regained the Tag titles here and I have to be honest, on one hand I'm happy for them but on the other hand I could care less. It's weird because this doesn't necessarily mean that they're gonna have a meaningful role with the belts. I hope that's not the case going forward.
We finally have an update on the 24/7 Championship situation as the elevator finally gets unstuck and once it opens, superstars are ready to win the belt as there's a referee finally involved. They all go after Truth but himself and Carmella finally escapes and Truth is still 24/7 Champion!
Firefly Funhouse time again! In this episode, Bray is doing some handiwork as Rambling Rabbit fights with Mercy the Buzzard, who keeps trying to eat him. Bray starts interrogating Rambling then he states that he should expose what's been REALLY going on inside the Funhouse. Bray, who then appears sporting a clown nose, doesn't like the sound of that. He grabs a mallet then proceeds to beat Rambling Rabbit with it! He uses Rambling Rabbit's blood to create a new kind of jam called Rambling Rabbit's Bohemian Breakfast Spread. Yowie Wowie indeed.....

Seth Rollins Vs. Kevin Owens (Special Guest Referee; Sami Zayn)
Sami Zayn was appointed as the guest referee OUTSIDE of the ring for this match. In other words, he's the special enforcer. The match itself was good but not too special. Throughout the match, Sami would prevent Rollins from winning any chance he gets. KO almost had the match won a couple of times but Rollins fought back each time. Rollins finally executes the Curb Stomp but the official referee was pulled out of the ring by Zayn then argues with him. Rollins is angry at this point and threatens to beat up Zayn then gets disqualified by him. Rollins finally starts beating up Sami then Corbin comes out to even the odds. Corbin grabs a chair but Rollins takes it from him before he could do anything with it. He then proceeds to beat Sami senseless with the chair then performs the Curb Stomp on him to close out the show!
