We're back with Pro Wrestling Reviews! This time, we dive into WWE's 11th annual Money in the Bank PPV! Now with the Covid-19 pandemic, WWE's yet again in an situation where they had to held the PPV in their Performance Center but this time we were introduced to a new concept. Both Men's and Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Matches were going to be held in the WWE Headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut! Simultaneously at that! This was definitely a match that we shouldn't miss and now we have two new MITB briefcase holders! So who were the two new briefcase winners that successfully climbed the corporate ladder? Let's take a look at the PPV to find out!

Pre-Show: Jeff Hardy Vs. Cesaro

Decent match here. Cesaro worked over Jeff Hardy throughout the match as he kept his momentum down for a bit. Jeff fought back with his ariel attacks as best as he could, but Cesaro would somehow overpower him whenever the chance he got. Jeff at the end fought off Cesaro with a dive over the barricade at ringside then topped it off with the Swanton Bomb for the victory! Jeff Hardy's definitely on the road to one more successful run in WWE and this win is the start of it all.

The New Day (C) Vs. Lucha House Party Vs. The Miz & John Morrison Vs. The Forgotten Sons (Smackdown Tag Team Championships)

Good match to kick off the PPV. All 4 teams had their shining moments throughout the match especially the Lucha House Party as Gran Metalik and Lince Dorado flew all over everyone. John Morrison executed the Starship Pain on Big E but Gran Metalik broke up the pinfall attempt. Big E later on attempted to run through Steve Cutler with the Apron Spear but Jaxson Ryker pulled him over the top rope. This resulted in the referee banning Ryker from ringside! Match continued on then Kofi Kingston nailed Metalik with the Trouble in Paradise then Big E followed up with the Big Ending and the New Day emerged victorious to retain the Smackdown Tag Team Championships!

Bobby Lashley Vs. R-Truth

R-Truth was supposed to square off against MVP and the two had an back and forth exchange until Bobby Lashley appeared. Lashley simply told MVP that he'll take care of Truth so therefore a new match was made. Lashley mostly dominated Truth and Truth got some offense, but Lashley ended him with a Spear for the win.

Braun Strowman (C) Vs. Bray Wyatt (WWE Universal Championship)

Fine match as these guys did what they could to take each other down. Braun took control for a while but when Bray fought back, Bray wasn't exactly happy about it as he didn't like getting physical. Bray attempted for a Sister Abigail but Braun grabbed him by the neck, but Bray knocked him down anything and Braun rolled out of the ring for safety. Here's where the peak of the match comes in. All of a sudden, Braun rises and sports his old black sheep mask from his Wyatt Family days! Bray was astonished to see this and was full of joy as he believed for a minute that Braun was coming back to join him again. The two even hugged and we see Rambling Rabbit, Abby The Witch, Huskis the Pig, and Mercy the Buzzard all at ringside cheering for them. Braun then stops Bray and takes his mask off, clearly upsetting Bray. Braun then stomps on the mask and executes the Powerslam to successfully retain the Universal Championship! Braun Strowman played the ultimate mind game on Bray Wyatt in order to retain his title and it definitely worked for him!

Drew McIntyre (C) Vs. Seth Rollins (WWE Championship)

This was a good match! Both guys took each other to the limit for the gold. Seth Rollins was definitely on his A game as he was determined to win the championship. The two would exchange blows and maneuvers back and forth throughout the match and even exchanged a few pinfall attempts. McIntyre at one point nailed the Future Shock DDT for a near fall and didn't know what to do next. He would attempt the Claymore Kick a few times but Rollins would block him at every chance with Superkicks. Rollins then went out to grab a steel chair and teased to use it, but decided against it to try to trick McIntyre. Rollins actually nailed the Curb Stomp but McIntyre surprisingly kicked out of it! He then tried to hit the move again but McIntyre caught him with a Headbutt then Rollins Superkicked him again. McIntyre bounced off the ropes and nailed Rollins with a surprise Claymore Kick then pinned him to retain the WWE Championship! Before exiting the ring, McIntyre extended his hand for a handshake and Rollins was hesitant for a minute. The two then finally shook hands and McIntyre exited the ring with the WWE Championship on his shoulders.

Men & Women's Money In The Bank

So much craziness to recap! The men started off in the gym while the women started in the lobby of the HQ. From there things took off as it turned into an all out race for the briefcases. We got a Brother Love cameo as Rey Mysterio ran towards the bathroom and Brother Love himself arrived out from one of the stalls. The women ran all the way into the conference room where everyone was laid out except for Dana Brooke. Dana notices a MITB briefcase on the ceiling and grabs it! Dana totally believes that she won the match but Stephanie McMahon appeared to tell her that she's hold the wrong briefcase! Dana of course was upset but then Carmella takes her out with a shot to the back with a portrait of herself. Next we see AJ Styles look for Rey Mysterio as he searches room to room. He stumbles across a picture of The Undertaker and clearly this startles him. He then finds a room that has a casket in there for no reason whatsoever. Aleister Black appears and knocks him in the room with the casket and closes the door. Next Paul Heyman was enjoying a nice meal to himself when both the men and women appeared face to face arguing! Heyman shuts them all down then Otis shouts for a food fight and a big food fight went on that ended with Nia Jax slamming Carmella through the table! Next we see AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan collide as they brawled into someone's office, and that office belonged to the one and only Vince McMahon! Both guys stopped in their tracks as Vince screamed for them to get out and the two actually obliged, even fixing the chairs for Vince. That was definitely a funny moment in this match. Now we've finally reached the roof and Asuka battles with Nia Jax. Asuka knocks down Jax then Lacey Evans comes in and gets knocked down herself. Asuka climbed the ladder then we see King Corbin come up and the two for some dumb reason tried to prevent one another for getting their perspective briefcases. That was really stupid. Asuka then kicked Corbin off the ladder and successfully secured the briefcase to become the 2020 Women's MITB winner! Matched continued for the men and all competitors came up to brawl. Corbin then ends up tossing Rey Mysterio and Aleister Black over the roof of the building! We know for sure they didn't fall all the way down to the ground but still, Corbin tossed them off! AJ Styles then battles with Corbin, Bryan, and Otis as he fights them off climbing the ladder. AJ had his hands on the briefcase but Corbin came up again and they had a scuffle until Elias showed up. Elias hits them both and somehow they've dropped it and who caught it? Otis! Otis is the 2020 Men's MITB winner!! Totally unexpected to have Otis win this match but he did. Could he become a world champion sooner than later in his career? Only time will tell.

2020 Money in the Bank was very unique but entertaining nonetheless. Every championship holder going into this PPV came out on top and we have new two MITB briefcase holders! Now we will await when the time comes for both holders to cash in on any championship they want for an entire year and hopefully we'll see new champions down the line.
