ONE Championship: Dawn Of Heroes Review
I’m excited for this. One Championship put on another event and it was a great card and for the first time in the history of this website, we will be reviewing the event that was Dawn Of Heroes so let’s get this started.
ONE Championship: Dawn Of Heroes Predictions
It’s about time that we do articles on ONE Championship, the ever-growing MMA organisation is rising at a rapid speed and that’s mainly because how exposed the product is. You can download the app and watch their events for free and watch all of their previous events for free also! What’s not to love? They have a great roster of fighters and that’s only going to get better from this day forward. Now, I have to admit that this is my first ONE event, however I do have a strong knowledge of MMA so my plan is to watch at least one of everybody’s fight on this card before I make my predictions and I’m just letting you know that I have so let’s get into this!
Bellator 220 Predictions
It’s always good to go back to Bellator to predict their events and I think the last event we predicted for them was Bellator 201 so it’s great to be doing this again and if this goes well, then expect to see more Bellator predictions.
UFC 235 Predictions
When you think of stacked cards, your mind might instantly think of UFC 235 - mine certainly does and what’s not to like about the card? It has the debut of Ben Askren, two title fights, Cody Garbrandt’s first fight since failing to recapture the bantamweight title and even the prelims are fun with a fantastic match up between up and comer Zabit Magomedsharipov and the hardest hitting 145 pounder, Jeremy Stephens. Johnny Walker who is just a joy to watch will be fighting Misha Cirkunov. Did I even mention that Jon Jones is fighting?! On the same card as T-Woodley?! The card is as the kids would call “lit” and I personally can’t wait to watch it. There’s another fight on the card as Josh defends his All Things Combat MMA predictions championship against former champion Cameron and the return of Jack - brace yourselves, the future is now.
UFC 231 Predictions
Tonight we see a double title headliner with the women’s flyweight title and the Featherweight title both on the line. Not only that but the All Things Combat MMA Predictions Championship is on the line as Cameron who has had the belt since 227 will defend it against Josh who hasn’t had the belt since 227. This is a rivalry which keeps brewing and tonight they settle it out over predictions.
UFC 4 Review
UFC 4 took place in December, 1994 and it was another one of these tournament formats. This tournament was stacked, it had big names like two time winner Royce Gracie, Dan Severn & UFC 3 winner, Steve Jennum.
UFC 3 Review
On our twitter page (@ThingsCombat) we released a poll asking you what UFC PPV I should review next and the options were UFC 201, 139, 50 and the one which won: UFC 3. It makes sense too as recently we reviewed UFC 1 and most recently UFC 2 but after this PPV, I’m probably going for a more recent PPV like somewhere in the 100 region but back to UFC 3, let’s get going.
UFC 2 Review
Previously, we’ve watched and reviewed UFC 1 and it’s time for the second ever UFC event - UFC 2: No Way Out.
UFC 230 Review
In quest to review every PPV in UFC history, it’s getting quite hard as UFC keep doing PPV’s but we’re not going to let them win, we’ll review the most recent PPV and then try and do more PPV’s by doing a good dew before the next one. UFC 230 was on Saturday so let’s get it watched and reviewed.
UFC 230 Predictions
This Saturday, UFC presents UFC 230 which went from a great looking card to a card which is still good but it’s not as half as good as it once was. At one point, 230 contained Rockhold Vs. Weidman, Diaz Vs. Poirier, Romero Vs. Costa but now it’s Weidman Vs. Souza, Diaz nor poirier is no longer fighting and Romero Vs Costa was cancelled almost right away. Despite the downfall, Cameron and Josh still made their predictions for the card and here they are.
UFC 229 Predictions
The biggest fight in UFC history. Supposedly, trending at Mayweather/McGregor Numbers but let’s face it, it’s not. I’m not saying it’s not going to break the UFC PPV Record, it’ll absolutely shatter it but it’s not getting 4 Million Buys. 2 Million? 100% 3 Million? Possibly. 4 Million? Nope. It’s not I don’t want it to break 4 million buys, the bigger, the better. Cameron - who’s in Spain, defends his title against Josh and former All Things Combat Wrestling Champion, Jack.
UFC 228 Review
UFC 228 was last night and we saw many things, great fights, great knockouts and a championship fight. Let’s get right into it.
UFC 228 Predictions
UFC 228 is tonight and this marks Cameron’s first prediction title defence since winning the championship in August. Obviously Nico Montaño was scheduled to defend her title against Valentina Schemenko but that fight has since been pulled due to Montaño going to hospital.
UFC 227 Review
UFC 227 was on Saturday night and the card didn’t look too good but as always with UFC events - if the card doesn’t look too good on paper, it is always better than it looks.
Rizin 11 Saitama Predictions
I like Rizin. I think it’s the best MMA promotion in the world as the event always delivers and almost never disappoints. I won’t predict the whole card as there are a good few matches so I’m going to predict the last 5.
UFC 226 Review
So it’s time for the UFC 226 Review, who won between Cormier and Miocic, Ngannou and Lewis and the bigger question: Josh and Cameron. Let’s get into the review.
UFC 226 Predictions
It’s time for the UFC 226 Predictions as Josh defends his newly won All Things MMA championship against rival, Cameron. The show is stacked and was even more stacked with Holloway/Ortega but even without that fight, this card is fire. Let’s get into their predictions.
Bellator 201 Predictions
Bellator 201 is taking place tonight and it takes place in California. Obviously this event follows Bellator 200 and while the card is nowhere as good as Bellator 200, this show should still be really entertaining. I think it’s time to start the predictions.
UFC 225 Review
UFC 225 was on Saturday and I’d say it was the most stacked card in 2018 and it’s time for me to review the PPV event.
UFC 225 Predictions
Are you ready for the most stacked card of the year so far? I know I am. We already seen Jack become the inaugural All Things Wrestling Champion but who is going to be the first ever All Things MMA Champion? Will it be Josh or will it be Cameron? Let’s see who they predict for next week’s UFC event.
Bellator 200 Review
Who’s ready for the 200th Bellator event? I know I am. The show should be a good one with some great bouts scheduled and I’m looking forward to seeing what fights turn out good and what ones don’t turn out as good. Let’s start the show.
Bellator 199 Review
I like Bellator, I enjoy the events they put on. Bellator 200 is right around the corner but before we get there, Bellator 199. The fights on paper looked good so can it live up to expectations? Let’s see the first fight.
UFC 224 Review
UFC 224 was last night and it’s time for the review. The card on paper wasn’t the strongest and UFC 225 is much stronger but that doesn’t mean it’s going to be a bad show. It’s time to start the review.
Bellator 199 Predictions
This Saturday, Bellator puts on their 199th event on the same night as UFC 224. Jack will be doing predictions for UFC 224 while I’ll be doing Predictions for a Bellator. We hope to make predictions against each other at the next UFC PPV but for now, we’re doing a show each. So before we go any further, I’m Josh from All Things Combat and here is predictions for Bellator 199.
Rizin 10 Fukuoka Review
This has been an event which I have been looking forward to for the past month or so. Rizin is a great MMA promotion with great fighters within the roster. I made predictions for the last 6 fights as the card is too big. Since I made predictions for the 6 fights, I’ll be reviewing the 6 fights so it’s time for the review so strap in.
Rizin 10 Fukuoka Predictions
This Sunday, Rizin puts on which will most likely be another fantastic show. If you’ve never heard of Rizin, I’ll explain it. Rizin MMA is a Japanese MMA promotion which was formed in 2015 and have put on several events since launching. This is Rizin’s 12th event and the card looks stacked. Rizin is not like any other MMA promotion out there and that’s a fact. I’m going to predict the last 6 fights rather than the whole card.
Bellator 198 Review
Bellator 198 Predictions
This Saturday night, Bellator puts on a card which should be entertaining and genuinely has some great bouts throughout the card. This card seems like most of the fights could go either way and I think that makes this card fascinating.
The first fight on the main card features Javier Torres fighting Neiman Gracie in the welterweight divison. This fight should be a great fight and I think Gracie will expand his undefeated streak from 6-0 to 7-0.
Moving onto the middleweights now as John Slater goes to war with Rafael Lovato Jr who recently picked up a big win over Chris Honeycutt. The middleweight champion, Rafael Carvalho should definitely be watching this fight as these two must be in title contention within the next two years. My prediction for this one is Rafael Lovato Jr.
The third fight contains two featherweights. The first fighter is Sam Sillica, who is a former UFC fighter but was unfortunately released and he will fight his second fight for Bellator and take on Emmanuel Sanchez. Sanchez and Sillica have victories over former champion, Marcos Galvão. I believe that Sanchez will pick up a big win over Sillica and defeat him in his second fight in the promotion.
The mainevent of the evening is Fedor Emelianenko who fights Frank Mir. This is Mir’s first fight since 2016 and I think it might be one of the slower fights on the card due to their age but I do think Mir is picking up the win and look forward to see how this plays out.
What do you think about the card? Bellator 198 may not be as strong as the previous card but I don’t think that matters as the card is strong enough for me to remain invested.
