Hughie Fury Vs. Sam Sexton (The Boxing Analysis)

After just publishing an article, I thought I could just watch some TV. Perhaps some Family Guy or even Impratical Jokers, however after scrolling through the channel list I came across some boxing and I just remembered that Hughie Fury was in action against Sam Sexton and it was free on TV. So, I thought why not do a boxing analysis of the fight?

Round 1

The fight starts off slow but speeds up over time. Sexton gets some great punches into Fury and gets him against the ropes. Fury does get in some good offence throughout the round.


My Thoughts: A really hard round to judge. Like really tough but it was a good opening.


Round Winner: Sam Sexton

Round 2

It’s a good second round. Fury hitting a decent combo to Sexton. It’s a close round which slows down in the last minute.


My Thoughts: Quite a boring round.


Round Winner: Hughie Fury

Round 3

Sexton lands a good few jabs the round. Fury tries to fight back but I think he’s taking a good number of hits. Sexton hits a good number of jabs aswell towards the end.


My Thoughts: A decent round to watch. Great round for Sexton.


Round Winner: Sam Sexton

Round 4

Fury lands some great punches near the beginning of the round. The two boxers brawl which looks exciting. Fury hits a great combo which knocks Sexton down to the ground which ends the round, Sexton is in trouble.


My Thoughts: Great round of boxing.


Round Winner: Fury

Round 5

Sam Sexton walks into a straight punch and Hughie Fury picks up the win! That was a knockout!
