Amir Khan made his comeback to boxing last month by knocking out Phil Lo Greco in 40 seconds but Canelo Alvarez recently got suspended but a long time ago in May 2016, the two of them fought. It was a good fight with some good build-up. It’s speed vs power.
Round 1

Round 5
Khan trying for more speedy combos and he does hit them but are they effective? Canelo is hitting some big shots. The body damage of Khan is clearly increasing. He is in trouble if the body shots go for longer. Khan tries to counter this by some head shots but it doesn’t match the power of Canelo.
My Thoughts: A good round, Canelo and Khan both did good here.
Round Winner: Canelo Alvarez (48-47) (Khan now in the lead by a single point)

Round 6
There’s fact punches from both fighters. Khan going for more punches, Canelo hits two head punches and you can’t tell Khan has a painful head at the moment. Bad time for Khan. Alvarez is weakening the chin. And it pays off as Canelo hits one big right hand and Khan goes down.
That was a great fight and if Khan didn’t get knocked out, Canelo would’ve won by decision so I think it was better this way. I’ve been Josh from All Things Combat, that was a flashback edition of the boxing analysis.
