Picture
I can’t imagine this list being majorly changed a decade from now as the time of PPV is over. I love the feeling of a big fight which is on PPV however that’s what I think PPV should be, big fights. Tonight we see Dillian Whye and Oscar Rivas headline a Sky Sports box office card and while it’s a fantastic card, I find myself disagreeing that it’s PPV worthy. Today, we look at the 10 most bought boxing PPV’s of all time.

5 Potential Opponents For Amir Khan

Picture

Amir Khan has recently made his return to the boxing ring on Saturday getting a 40 second TKO victory over Phil Lo Greco. The question on everybody’s mind is where the Khan Man goes next and we here at All Things Combat have 5 potential opponents for Amir Khan’s next fight.

5: Kell Brook

This one is basically confirmed at this point, Kell Brook and Amir Khan have previously stated that they want this fight. In fact, Amir Khan said that he wanted a fight to warm himself up for Kell Brook. I think it’s safe to say that he’s officially warmed up.

4: Errol Spence Jr.

This would be a great match for Khan and I think this would make a great fight. Errol Spencer is fighting this June and is most likely hoping for his 23-0 streak. Spence Vs. Khan has never happened before but Spence has defeated the likes of Lo Greco and Kell Brook who we have previously mentioned.

3: Keith Thurman Jr.

Also known as the best welterweight boxer going today, Thurman has it all. The man is a WBA welterweight super champion (not to be confused with Lucas Matthysse who is the WBA welterweight Champion). Thurman is also the WBC welterweight Champion. I do believe that Thurman would beat Khan but I’d still like to see this fight.

2: Jeff Horn

And speaking of welterweight Champions, Jeff Horn. Horn is currently enjoying life as WBO welterweight Champion after defeating Manny Pacquiao in the middle of 2017. Since then, he has successfully defended the belt against Gary Corcoran. He is scheduled to defend his belt against Terence Crawford in June. Horn Vs Khan has never happened and I think that’s a bad move. Jeff Horn is a great boxer who has potential to do some great things in the near future.

1: Manny Pacquiao

Like Amir Khan or dislike him, him verses Pacquio is a big money fight, millions will watch this fight legally and illegally. Pacquiao is fighting in July and will fight Lucas Matthyse for the WBA welterweight Champion. I hope Pacquiao wins because if he does, we’re on our way to Pacquiao verses Khan and I for one is excited.
