Bellator 200 Review
Who’s ready for the 200th Bellator event? I know I am. The show should be a good one with some great bouts scheduled and I’m looking forward to seeing what fights turn out good and what ones don’t turn out as good. Let’s start the show.
Mike Shipman Vs. Carl Noon (Middleweight)
Round 1: Shipman immediately hits him with a punch which Noon falls and Shipman finishes him.
Aaron Chalmers Vs. Ash Griffiths (163LBS)
Round 1: It’s a slow first minute but it quickly picks up as Griffiths stuns Chalmers with a knee but Chalmers stuns him and chokes Griffiths out for the win.
MVP Vs. David Rickels (Welterweight)
Rickels is moving all about the cage, Page goes for some punches. Page hits a two jab combo. He hits bit punches. Rickels is landing some punches. Page hits a good heel kick which he kinda hits but it’s not 100%. The two fighters have a lot of taunting. Page knocks Rickels down but doesn’t finish him.
Round 2: Page hits a MASSIVE punch and Rickels bleeds everywhere and calls off the fight.
Round 2: Page hits a MASSIVE punch and Rickels bleeds everywhere and calls off the fight.
Rafael Carvalho (c) Vs. Gegard Mousasi (Bellator Middleweight Championship)
Round 1: A nice had kick. Carvlho gets taken down but gets up. Mousasi pulls him back down but. This has definitely been Mousasi’s round and isn’t looking for the champion. He enters the top mount position. Mousasi wins by continuous punches to Carvlho who stops responding.
That was a great show with some great fights but what did you think? Tell us on twitter and on Facebook, I’ve been Josh from AllThingsCombat.com and that was Bellator 200.
