Andy Ruiz Jr Vs. Anthony Joshua Prediction
When I first head that Andy Ruiz Jr was the replacement for Jarrell Miller, the last thing I was thinking about was how the rematch would take place six months later but here we are. There’s so much in the line, Ruiz doesn’t want to be known as the champion who defended one time and lost his first defence and Joshua wants his titles back - somebody has to lose and that’s what I think is so crazy. The first fight wasn’t so exciting as we all thought it would just be another night in the office for Joshua but that office turned out to be hell. Let’s predict the rematch!
Before I predict the rematch, we have to talk about the first fight. Ruiz looked great in it, he countered everything Joshua threw at him and even when Ruiz was dropped, he composed himself and went on to win in the seventh round. What Ruiz needs to do in the rematch is apply the pressure to Joshua, counter Joshua and if he does get dropped, keep his composure like he did the first time. Joshua on the other hand needs to outbox Ruiz - he has to keep the distance in his favour and if that means winning a boring decision then that’s what he has to do.
Now, who do I think will win? It really is a toss up but I’m going to go with Joshua on points. He’ll use that range of his and fend Ruiz off. Thought as the rounds go on, Ruiz will only get hungrier and Joshua has to be cautious but I am saying that Joshua regains the championships in Saudi Arabia.
