It's eye for an eye on this edition of AEW Dynamite! Jon Moxley went one on one with The Inner Circle's Santana as Santana looked to exact revenge on his opponent for what he did to him last week. We also had two Championship Matches as SCU battled Kenny Omega and Hangman Adam Page for the World Tag Team Championships and Riho defended the Women's Championship against the Native Beast, Nyla Rose! So much to look forward to going into this event! Let's recap the show shall we?

Kenny Omega & Hangman Page (C) Vs. SCU (AEW Tag Team Championships)

Good opening Championship Match! These two teams continue to battle like no other as they had a very good tag match. SCU were performing a bit heelish in this match especially Scorpio Sky as they would cheap shot their opponents whenever the referee would have his back turned. Omega and Page were actually coexisting throughout the match with some outstanding teamwork and they had SCU under control for a bit til Page got sidetracked by Frankie Kazarian as he was thrown from the top rope to the floor while attempting to launch a Moonsault. By this point SCU gained control again and had the match won a couple of times. Omega looked bleak for a moment but gained a comeback over time and managed to tag in Page for the momentum shift! After a few missed attempts, Page finally nails the Buckshot Lariat on Kazarian while Omega hits a V-Trigger at the same time for an insane combo! With that, Omega pinned Kazarian and retained the AEW World Tag Team Championships along with Adam Page! Afterwards, Kazarian and Sky were coping with the lose when suddenly The Dark Order arrives to surround themselves around SCU. They're then joined by The Butcher, The Blade, Jack Evans and Angèlico and things didn't look good for SCU but then help came along! Best Friends and The Young Bucks came out then a big brawl breaks out as each team were set for the Tag Team Battle Royale for next week's Dynamite!!

Dustin Rhodes Vs. Sammy Guevara

Good match, mainly a great showcase for the man himself Dustin Rhodes! Dustin throughout the match kicked the crap out of Sammy and even Jake Hager couldn't help Sammy for the most part. Sammy got some offense in but overall Dustin showed everyone that he's still got it and will never lose it! Dustin put Sammy away with the Final Cut for the pinfall victory but he wasn't done there. Rhodes grabbed a microphone and proceeded to challenge Jake Hager to a match at Revolution! Hager of course didn't say a word and walked off, but I'm sure we'll witness this match at the PPV and we'll see how Hager will do in his first official AEW match.

Tony Schiavone was out next as he interviewed Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D and yet again she RIPS into the crowd! Baker's insults were mainly basic stuff but overall she came off like a total b***h and the crowd gave her all of the heat she deserved! Heel Baker is totally a good role for her and she seems to be enjoying it every step of the way.

Riho (C) Vs. Nyla Rose (AEW Women’s Championship)

Another good Championship Match brought upon us! Riho came into this match with fire as she absolutely brought her best to Nyla. Nyla is a beast of course so she wasn't gonna hold anything back either and tossed Riho around with ease. Nyla tried bringing in a table early on in the match and actually had it set up, til Riho came running on the table to deliver a Dropkick to Nyla! Throughout the match, Riho mainly had the upper hand as she dished out some epic maneuvers even giving Nyla a Northern Lights Suplex for a close near fall. Riho then gave Nyla a few Double Foot Stomps off the top rope but Nyla somehow powered through them all. Nyla came back and after dominating Riho for a bit, she finished her off with the Sit Out Powerbomb for the win! Nyla Rose is the new AEW Women's Champion!

Backstage we see The Inner Circle being interviewed as Le Champion Chris Jericho talks about his upcoming title match against Jon Moxley at Revolution. After what Moxley did to Santana with the car key last week, Jericho was hell bent on getting revenge on Moxley and boy he sure has something in store for the man. Jericho announces that next week, Moxley will go one on one with none other than JEFF COBB!! Jeff Cobb is officially in AEW and this is a big pick up for the company! Can't wait to see what the big man will do on Wednesday nights.

MJF Vs. Jungle Boy

Competitive match between these guys. MJF was being very arrogant as he was toying with Jungle Boy but Jungle Boy wasn't gonna tolerate that. JB would put up a good fight as he dished out some luchador attacks even by diving onto MJF at ringside, turning the tables whenever he could. Things were going good for JB until MJF called for Wardlow to make an appearance and the big man arrived right on que. Wardlow would then distract the referee while MJF struck JB in the face with his Dynamite Diamond Ring then finished him off with the Double Cross for the pinfall victory! Wardlow would attack JB after the match until Luchasaurus and Marko Stunt ran out for the save, but the two got away just in time.

Jon Moxley Vs. Santana

Fine main event here as these two guys brawled in what was an eye for an eye! Santana performed well in this match I was impressed with how aggressive he was since he was on a mission to beat down Moxley in an act of revenge. Moxley put up a fight as usual and with The Inner Circle watching in the crowd, Moxley was sure hell bent on destroying Santana to send Chris Jericho a message heading into their title match at Revolution. The two would go on to brawl in the crowd for a bit but unfortunately neither of them made it back in the ring in time, so the match ended in a count out. The Inner Circle would waste no time by ambushing Moxley after the match then suddenly we see Chris Jericho signaling for someone in the back to come to the ring. That someone turned out to be Jeff Cobb himself!! Cobb came to the ring and laid out Moxley, giving the man a taste of what's to come for their encounter next week on Dynamite! The Inner Circle stood tall to close out this show and by the looks of it, Jon Moxley has another roadblock to deal with before reaching Chris Jericho at Revolution!
