This Week In Ring Of Honor - 28/04/18
It’s back. It’s good to have it return so let’s start things off with the run-down.
Match 1: Josh “The Goods” Woods Vs. Chuckie T
Chuckie T is here to kick things off. Josh Woods is out next, I’m a fan of Woods.
The match is very hard hitting with some big moves but it’s Chuckie T who gets the win after rolling Woods up after Woods locks in an arm bar.
Thoughts: Decent match.
Match 2: Stella Gray Vs. Sumie Sakai
The WOH champion is in action. Gray hits a brilliant spear which Sakai somehow kicks out of. Gray has been impressive in this one and hits a Tornado DDT. Sakai picks up the victory after a smash mouth. After the match, Jenny Rose congratulates Sakai on her win. She shows footage of a tag match a few weeks ago where Sakai runs into her by accident.
Thoughts: Good match.
Bully Ray is out next. He asks the crowd what gives Cheeseburger the right to put him on the spot. He says to the crowd that if they throw something at him again, he’ll go over the guard rail and punch them in their face. 5 seconds later, someone throws something which bounces off their head. He says to Joe Kaff that he’s still the enforcer and puts on his WWE hall of fame ring and says that this ring makes him better.
Thoughts: Good promo, what happens next?
Match 3: Flip Gordon Vs. Silas Young (ROH TV Championship)
Gordon enters first followed by Young. Shane Taylor is on commentary. The match is great and anybody could’ve won. Silas Young picks up the win in a fantastic mainevent.
ROH was good this week and I’m looking forward to see next week’s episode but for the first time ever, let’s look at the ratings from WORST to BEST:
Motor Sh***y Machine Guns
TK OK Ryan
Josh “The Goods” Goods
This week’s episode gets: Josh “The Goods” Goods
Star Of The Show:
This use to be my favourite segment on the show and now it’s back. Since the series was on another site, I’m going to restart the segment. Basically it’s between 3 wrestlers who were the best wrestlers on the show. 3rd place gets 1 point, 2nd gets 2 points and first place gets the 3 points. This will all add up in the next few months so it’s going to be interesting to see who wins.
In 3rd place and receives a single point is Chuckie T. He had a good opening match with Josh Woods and it’s good to see Chuckie get a singles match.
In 2nd place and gets 2 points is the TV champion, Silas Young. Young put on a cracker of a match with Flip Gordon and deserves these two points.
And finally reviewing 3 points is Flip Gordon. He did so good in this match that I was hoping he’d win!
Let’s take a look at the league table now
1st: Flip Gordon -3
2nd: Silas Young – 2
3rd: Chuckie T - 1
If you don’t know what a considerable is then I’ll explain. A considerable is when I give you a topic and ask a lot of questions for you to consider so this week’s topic is: Silas Young
Were you impressed with Silas Young? Are you enjoying his title reign? Who will he drop the belt to? Is Silas Young underrated? Do you like Silas Young?
That’s all we have time for in This Week In Ring Of Honor, join me next week for next week in Ring Of Honor.
